Wow i have been busy with two puppies... but golly it has been a lot of fun. abstarct is learning very fast! she already knows her name and will come when called. she also know "NO!, stop don't eat that!!" she is also quite spunky. she will "talk" to her toys and also talks to me as she go outside... it isn't a bark more or a happy growl... quite funny (for now) anyway here are some more pictures of her and cosmo.

yesterday i found out that cosmo will be going into training next week. he just need to update his vaccinations. i will be having a going to college party fo r him. so stay tuned for details.

the world it full of missed opportumiteis I always fear that today i niss something beautiful. i try to live my life without regret but that still leads to regret... what is a person to do? it is said you only get one shot at this life... i just don't want to give any one the wrong impression...

as i am sure many of you know tomorrow abstract comes home! don't worry i will take tons of pictures just be patience. but before we pick up abstract i am going sailing on my new sailboat! it is a 17 foot hobe cat. it has room for two but can be sailed by one person. it is supposed to be a beautiful sunny WINDY day tomorrow! i can't wait.

tomorrow should be a another great day in the story of geoff's life.

WOW! what a week! i had a lot of fun. climbing, hanging out with friends, running, and i even got to hold my new puppy! she is so cute. i will be getting her on thrusday this week! she is so cute! i also recieved the letter telling me that comso is ready to go into training... he will be leaving in about a month.

the party last night was fun thanks to all of those who made an appearance! we had a great time! and the lake was fun too. it looks like another busy week. catch you all later.

the new puppy will be here soon. julie Thorington just e-mailed me some pictures of the 'A' litter. she should be coming home near the end of june. i am excited... and cosmo will have some to play with for a little while before he goes in for training. excite. keep checking for updates

I am so excited! I saw abby last week. She was so happy to see me! I haven't seen her for a year and she still remembers me. For those of you that know I am buying a sail boat (17' hobie cat) I am hoping to sail it this week. It should be a lot of fun. And on a final note… I am celebrating living through yet another year. My birthweek celebrations start on the 11th of june and culminating on the 18th of june. We will be out at gun lake sailing and hopefully powerboating (kayaking too). And then having a cookout later in the evening. Hope to see you all there.

what an awesome day! i ran the river bank run today, and i think my time is around 2hrs15 mins.. awesome!!! it was a great race, and a lot of fun! hopefully i will be able to do some wakeboarding this weekend.. and the pictures from the trip are posted this time. (thanks pat)

DAMN!!! what a fun trip. CARYN was awesome! she let me stay at her place and took me around denver. i also did some rock climbing (thanks emily, josh, and shawn) & we hiked up pikes peak. i enjoyed every second... even getting dehydrated and having a killer headache... pictures

i am watching zara (the puppy john & lori are raising) and cosmo is loving it. They have not stopped wrestling… it get on my nerves a little… but mostly it is nice that I don't have to entertain either of them.

The dog park is open and it is fun… although cosmo would rather play fetch than play with other dogs… oh well.

so yeah... snow at the end of april! what a site... it make for a beautiful day. and i also went to the GRAM and the UICA today with kelley & matt it was quite fun. a gourgous fall day.... i mean spring.

over 2 1/2 weeks without a car... i am still enjoying it.... although it is a little constricting... but not too much... thanks to all my friends.

well i have completed one week without a car (10 days to be exact) and i like it. although i have to coordinate with friends a little more but still it is pretty fun. and i am getting in better shape.

many ideas about the future! i just have to decide which path is best for me right now.... (commence thinking)

i have decided to let the bee go... i don't want to want to keep him alive... i don't think he would want to be kept on life support... and i don't think i could bring myself to insert an oil tube... he has a very serious condition... permanate crack in the engine block... they say that here is no way to repair it and they are not sure he would even be the same. so i am just going to remove all life support and let him pass... (hopefully the courts & congress don't get envolved)

day 1 in a life without a car. a beautiful ride into work today. i went running after work too. it was beautiful. i just need to adjust my bike.

well it final happened... the moment we have all been waiting for... the "killerbee" is no more.. it over heated today and we are laying it to rest. it had a good run. and was a fun little piece of shit.

i am going to try living without a car... i think i might be able to do it... i can ride my bike to work, and carpool to PAWS... and i can trade rides for beer.... or something like that... it should make for some good stories.

i highly suggest leaving work at 3.30 on friday and mountain biking through the mud! it was great. I hope everyone out there celebrated april first! was a beautiful spring day....i hung some old clothes so it looked like some one was jumping from the balcony (at work).
we also went hiking this weekend... it was another beautiful day. and cosmo had fun playing in the mud too. he's got ups too! pics 1 or 2
oh and i have a roommate now. he is a prettty cool guy.

well spring is in the air... well sort of... if you count snow. cosmo lost his winter coat. with a little help from the groomer. it told him that he was naughty and he need a hair cut... check it out

Wow ... What a weekend...

Skiing was awesome and we are all a little sore. No major injures a couple scraps aned bruises. I think we boarded for upwards of 20 miles or so. And it was all moguls and glades (trees) so a damn good time. oh and i hitchhiked for my first time. (only a couple miles) the driver (not me) ran out of gas so we to go get some... AAA said they would be there in about 1 1/2 hours. it was 12.30 am.. .so there was not a lot of traffic. it was hard to flag anyone down.. it was great... i am hoping to get a couple more of the stories from the trip posted.

DAMN! what an awesome ski trip! we had a great time... no one was serious hurt. mostly sore from two days of hardcore boaring. pictures and videos (coming soon)

i have some great stories but i think the best is how we ran out of gas at 12.30 in the morning and had to hitchhike to the gas station and back. there are some interesting folk in the up at that time of night!

yet another ski trip. this weekend. this time i am really help my mom's hair turn gray. i am going to MT bohemia but tell her not to worry i have a helmet!!! i am really excited about this trip.

in other news i am going to start lead climbing next week. (if in can still walk) and i visited cherri & eric on monday. it was awesome they made a great dinner and let me hold and even feed emma. thoes girls are so cute!

well this weekend i took third in a rock climbing comp... it was a lot of fun. and i went boarding on sunday and saw a great concert. she was awesome!!! (click pic.)

holy crap being sick sucks! i had a fever, chills, sore throat, night sweats, cough, headache, you know all the fun stuff. i just hope that i didn't get anyone else sick.

the design charrett was great. we can up with some good ideas and hopefully those ideas will help the three regions focus their development and growth. now i have to do a presentation on what i learned.... it should be fun.

things are going well. i am taking part in a design charrett the next couple of days. i am a little nervous especially since i will have to do a presentation about it in a couple of weeks. but it is good practice. and it will help me feel better about my job.

well i am still working on the portfolio. i am starting to worry i don't know if i will be able to make the deadlines to submit this year. i guess i will just have to keep plugging away and hope for the best.. on the plus side i really like how it is shaping up. thanks to all those who have given me input.

thanks giving is over... which is a bummer. but at least i had a great time. i went to rebecca's parents house & met the family. It was fun. they are quite nice.

i am also happy that it snowed this weekend. i went and played in the snow that night at 2.00 am. it was beautiful, but sadly it has melted. oh well. i enjoyed it while it was here.

as for my ear. i still can't hear anything out of it, although the doctor said it looks good. and i should be able to here out of it in about 5 more weeks.

yesterday we went rock climbing. it was fun and rebecca did quite well too. it felt great to climb again. i flashed a coupel 5.9 routes. my balance is a lot better from wakeboarding and i am in decent shape from it too. _________________________________________________________________________________________________

well i still can't hear a damn thing from my left ear. which is a great excuse for not listening to people. i had a little scare over the weekend. my arm hurt and i called the doctor, he sent us to the ER thinking it might be a blood clot. Luckily it wasn't. But we didn't find that out until AFTER we waited in the ER for 3hrs. (only the last 35 mins did someone talk to us.)

I go to the doctor on Tues. hopefully everything is healing right. i am anxious to run & climb again. AND VERY anxious to ski & board (by the way i am planning on instruction this year) PRAY FOR SNOW!!!

EAR SURGERY (background)
two years ago i blew out my eardrum. it healed but there was a flap of skin the continued to grow. this flap of skin would have eventually filled in my entire ear canal causing hearing lose and it would be very difficult to remove at that point.. SO we decided that it would be best to rebuild my eardrum. the surgery took about 3 hours. during which they removed my eardrum, took a piece of skin from the back of my hand and placed it into my ear. the doctor had to cut a hole in my head to enable him to place the new eardrum from behind (from within the ear canal) after placing the new eardrum he filled my ear canal with a foam that will be absorbed by my body over the next six weeks, hence not being able to hear for 6 weeks. . _________________________________________________________________________________________________

it was great having the day off.. i relaxed and recovered. i feel a lot better today. there is a little story that goes along with the surgery. we i was a little kid i had tubes put in my ears. and when they were taking me away to operate i was sreaming 'don't leave me mommy' and then after surgery they gave be a bear with bandage all over him.... so this time i didn't scream but i did say 'no mommy don't leave me' and they gave me 'kernel corn' thanks to everyone that helped me in the past couple of days.

the art battle, at the UICA, was great. it is amazing to see art be created right before your eyes. especially when you have a nice frothy beer or similiar adult beverage. i hope to find more events like this one. a description from the UICA:

well surgery went well... although i have to take it "easy." i don't like sitting around at not really doing anything. but i should be back to "normal" i a week or so.

As some of you know. i am having ear surgery today. but not to worry it is fairly minor. i just have to spend all day in the hospital waiting for my turn.

Hmmm... what can i say. i am working on getting my portfolio done... it is a nice break from work... i actually am thinking when i am working on my portfolio, it is splendid. i am happy with how it is turning out. there are still a couple things i need to work out. for instance if anyone know how to create a 'style' for illustrator i need some help..

i (unlike most of my friends) am excited to snow and cold weather. ihave a couple trips planned for this winter, visiting my sister, going up north, and hopefuly going out west. anyone else interested? i have extra room in my suit case.... (maybe)

Well, it's over. We don't have to listen to the endless onslaught of ads and mudslinging from the candidates. I will admit that I am depressed about the election. But I am more depressed that gays are still being discriminated against. Are we (as heterosexuals) better than gays? It seems to me we have a superiority complex, when we say, "your love is a sin and you should not be entitle to any of the benefit that we get." are we arrogant enough to "know" gods will? My opinion is that two people loving each other does not affect any one negatively, therefore what business do we have to get involved?

working stinks.... but atleast i am learning. i went to my first planning commission meeting today. it was incredible formal, but i do feel that i would be comfortable standing up and talking at one of these meetings. tomorrow should be fun i think rebecca might teach me a thing or two about tennis, that is if the weather is decent. it should be a blast either way..

Happy Halloween.
Last night was a lot of fun. I wish I had my camera. I attended a house party, and I also kept seeing this beautiful girl there. Almost every time I turned around I saw her. I was even able to strike up a conversation with her a couple times. She had a great costume too. She was dressed as a glamour girl from the 60's, or as she said a "stepford wife" The rest of the costumes were great too and the house was awesome! They did a great job decorating it. Each room had a different theme. I really enjoyed meeting everyone that was there. I went as "Scuba Steve." If any one has pictures, could you send me a couple, thanks.

the day i met rebecca parrott
well friday i wakeboarded and then played taboo with some friends, then went out for a drink, then played cards... slept for couple hours.. went to parents house (was going to go wakeboarding but friends backed out) volunteered at the UICA met a beautiful girl. too a nap and was going to go the a benefit concert but friends backed out. went to a theater perfromance (a 24 production , written, cast and performed with in 24 hours) with beautiful girl. then we talked most of the night... we had a great time... sunday morning... went running after about 4 hours of sleep. the wakeboarded... almost cracked my back. but it was a beautiful day. and then cooked dinner for beautiful girl...... oh did i mention he name is Rebecca? but i won't hold that against her.
